The great mill game of Southern Africa, played with twelve “cows” on a board of three nested squares laced with diagonals. Place your cows, then move them along the lines; whenever you line up three on a row (a “mill”) you shoot one of the AI’s cows.
Rules
First, place your twelve cows one at a time onto the board’s points.
Once all are placed, tap one of your cows, then an adjacent empty point to slide it there — with only three cows left, you may fly to any empty point.
Completing a mill (three cows in a row on a marked line), whether by placing or moving, lets you remove one AI cow — one not already in a mill of its own, if possible.
Reduce the AI to two cows, or leave it with no legal move, to win.
Tips
Aim for a “double mill” (two mills sharing a cow) so that sliding one cow back and forth re-forms a mill every single turn, letting you shoot a cow each move. During placement, block the AI’s two-in-a-lines even at the cost of your own tempo — a mill you allow costs you a cow.
