How to play
The classic 3×3 magic square. Place the missing numbers from 1 to 9 so every row, column and diagonal adds up to exactly 15.
Rules
- Click an empty cell to select it, then click a number on the pad below (or type it) to fill it in.
- The running row, column and diagonal totals are shown beneath the grid.
- Click ✕ or press Backspace to clear a selected cell.
- Every row, column and both diagonals must sum to 15 to solve the puzzle.
- Reset deals a different square — 6 rounds that get harder (3, then 4, then 5 blanks), and they cycle.
Tips
5 always goes in the centre of a 3×3 magic square, and opposite pairs always sum to 10 — 1 and 9, 2 and 8, 3 and 7, 4 and 6.
