How to play

A binary-decimal conversion drill. Each question gives you a number in one base and asks for it in the other — work it out and type your answer.

Rules

  • Read whether you're converting decimal to binary or binary to decimal.
  • Type your converted answer and press Enter or Submit.
  • Each answer immediately shows whether you were right, and the correct value if not.
  • Complete all 10 questions to see your final score.

Tips

Memorise the powers of 2 — 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 — then work right to left, subtracting the largest power of 2 that still fits into what's left.
