Block Dominoes

How to play

The classic domino game, played with a double-six set and no boneyard. You and the AI each draw seven tiles and take turns matching a tile to either end of the line.

Rules

  • You and the AI each draw seven tiles from a shuffled double-six set — no boneyard in this variant.
  • On your turn, tap a highlighted tile in your hand to play it against either open end of the line — if it fits both ends, choose which side.
  • If you have no playable tile, you pass automatically.
  • Empty your hand first to win the hand, or hold the lower pip total if the game blocks (both sides stuck) — either way you score the difference in leftover pips. First to 50 points wins the match.

Tips

Shed your heaviest tiles early — leftover pips are what your opponent scores. Keep a spread of suits in hand so you’re never forced to pass.
