How to play
5 minutes each, no increment — the classic five-minute blitz game online chess players have played for decades.
Rules
- Tap or click a piece to see its legal moves highlighted, then tap the destination — or drag the piece directly.
- Both sides get 5 minutes total with no increment — manage your clock carefully, especially in a long game.
- All standard chess rules apply: castling, en passant, pawn promotion, threefold repetition and the 50-move rule.
- Checkmate the computer, force a resignation, or win on time to take the game.
Tips
Five minutes is enough to actually think in the opening — spend it there, then speed up once the position is simpler.
