Pyramid

How to play

Twenty-eight cards stand in a pyramid. Remove any two exposed cards whose ranks add up to thirteen to clear them — dismantle the whole pyramid to win.

Rules

  • A card is exposed once nothing overlaps it from the row below.
  • Tap two exposed cards whose ranks add to 13 (Ace = 1, Jack = 11, Queen = 12) to remove them both.
  • A King is worth 13 alone — tap it by itself to remove it immediately.
  • Tap the stock to flip a fresh card to the waste pile for extra pairing options — you have two redeals in reserve once the stock runs out.

Tips

Before pairing, check which cards each removal exposes — favour pairs that unlock the crowded middle of the pyramid. Save the waste card for ranks the pyramid can’t pair itself.
