A Kiowa race game of the Great Plains, run with four stave dice around a ring of forty marks. Cast the staves and drive both your markers a full circuit — but land square in the dry creek on the far side and you tumble all the way back to the start.
The only real danger is landing exactly on the creek at the halfway mark — it sends that marker all the way back. When your count would drop a marker squarely in the creek, spend the throw on your other marker instead.
