How to play

The Amazonian hunt of the Bororo people. You command fourteen dogs against the AI's lone jaguar on a 5×5 lattice. Your dogs slide along the lines to slowly hem the jaguar in — but the jaguar leaps over any dog it can, devouring it.

Rules

  • Tap one of your dogs, then tap a highlighted point to slide it one step along a line.
  • The jaguar moves after every dog move — it slides like a dog, but can also leap over an adjacent dog into the empty point beyond, capturing it.
  • Trap the jaguar so it has no legal slide or leap left to win.
  • If the jaguar devours five of your dogs, it wins instead.

Tips

Never leave a dog with an empty point directly beyond it in line with the jaguar — that's a free leap. Advance in a solid wall with no gaps behind the front dogs, and herd the jaguar toward a corner where it runs out of squares.
