How to play

A Malay hunt on a cross-shaped board. You command a crowd of men against the AI’s single tiger. Your men can only move and slowly surround — but the tiger leaps over a line of men to devour them all at once.

Rules

  • First, tap empty points to place your twenty men one at a time — the tiger moves between your placements.
  • Once every man is placed, tap one of your men, then a highlighted point to slide it one step along a line.
  • The tiger slides too, and can leap over any single one of your men into the empty point directly beyond it, eating that man.
  • Trap the tiger with no legal slide or leap to win — but if the tiger eats five of your men, it wins.

Tips

Never leave a man with an empty point directly behind him in line with the tiger — that is exactly the leap the tiger wants. Advance your men in solid, backed-up clumps so every man has a friend behind him, and herd the tiger toward a corner where its moves run out.
