A quiet, deadly game of Thailand and Myanmar on an 8×8 board. Pieces slide like rooks. Capture by flanking — trapping an enemy between two of your pieces — or by “piercing”, sliding into the gap between two enemies to take them both.
Rules
Tap one of your (red) pieces, then a highlighted square to slide it any distance in a straight line, like a rook — it cannot jump over anything.
Flanking: if the piece you just moved traps a run of one or more enemy pieces against another of your pieces in a straight line, that whole run is captured.
Piercing: sliding your piece into the single empty square sitting directly between two enemy pieces captures both of them at once.
Only the piece you just moved can capture — a piece already sitting between two enemies is safe until someone moves. Clear every AI piece, or leave the AI with no legal move, to win.
Tips
Two capture shapes to watch: sliding a piece up beside an enemy that already has a friend of yours on its far side (flanking), and sliding into the empty square sitting exactly between two enemies (piercing). Because capture depends on the moving piece, a piece already sitting between two enemies is safe until someone moves.
