How to play

A grid of shapes are all identical except for one that differs in shape, colour, size, rotation or fill style — spot it and click it directly.

Rules

  • Compare every shape in the grid — all but one share the exact same shape, colour, size, rotation and fill.
  • Click directly on the one shape that’s different — there are no separate answer options for this puzzle.
  • You’ll see immediately whether you were right, plus a plain-English explanation of what made it the odd one out.
  • Answer 10 questions per round, then start a fresh round any time — Hard adds more shapes to the grid and more possible ways they can differ.

Tips

Scan systematically — shape, then colour, then size, then rotation, then fill — rather than eyeballing the whole grid at once.
