An Egyptian capture game played on a 5×5 grid with a single empty centre square. First both sides place their twelve stones two at a time; once the board is full, you slide one square at a time to trap an AI stone between two of your own and remove it.
Rules
Placement phase: tap any empty square to place two of your stones per turn, leaving the centre square free.
Once all 24 stones are placed, tap one of your stones then a highlighted adjacent empty square to slide it there.
Trap an AI stone between two of your own stones in a straight line (horizontally or vertically) to capture it — the centre square is always safe and can't be used to trap or be trapped.
Capture every AI stone, or leave the AI with no legal move, to win.
Tips
A stone you move so it ends up between two enemy stones is NOT captured — only the player who closes the sandwich captures. So it's safe to slot into gaps; the real danger is leaving your own stone with an enemy on one side and an open square on the other.
