A number-placement puzzle where inequality signs, not sums, do the work. Fill the grid 1 to 5 so no row or column repeats, while every ‹ › sign between two cells points at the smaller number.
Rules
Click an empty cell to select it, then click a number on the pad below (or press 1–5) to fill it in.
Every row and column must contain each of 1 to 5 exactly once.
Each ‹ or › sign between two adjacent cells must point toward the smaller of the two numbers.
Click ✕ or press Backspace to clear a selected cell; a red cell or sign means something currently clashes.
Tips
Chase the signs first: a chain of several ‹/› in a row often pins down where the 1 and the 5 must sit before you touch the numbers themselves.
