How to play

Puli Meka (Aadu Puli Aatam) — the traditional Andhra hunt game on its authentic triangular pen board. Play either side: three tigers leap over goats to capture, while fifteen goats can't capture but win by trapping every tiger.

Rules

  • Choose to play Goats 🐐 or Tigers 🐯 before the round begins.
  • As Goats: place your 15 goats one at a time, then slide them along the lines to hem in the tigers.
  • As Tigers: step along the lines, or leap over an adjacent goat into an empty point beyond to capture it.
  • Tigers win by capturing 5 goats; goats win by trapping every tiger with no legal move.

Tips

Tip (Goats): never leave a goat with an empty point directly behind it along a line — that's a leap waiting to happen. Wall goats together and use the side pens as safe corners. Tip (Tigers): herd goats onto the long lines and set up double-jumps.
